The problem is about oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start camshaft position signal output, circuit low or change fuel pump "b" control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |

14492 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 14492 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
