Accumulated in electronic control units so o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match and nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
14491 Possible Causes:
14491 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 14491 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit low voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
