This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, no activity It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake data bus powertrain, missing message from instruments panel ecu or change barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
14478 Possible Causes:
14478 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 14478 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, higher limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
