14471 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing torque management feedback signal "b", low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles crankshaft position signal output, circuit / open and wait then valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
14471 Possible Causes:
14471 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 14471 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
