Diagnosing engine bar with camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), implausible signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start control module 2 for cooling fan, excess temperature and wait then tiptronic switch down, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
14470 Possible Causes:
14470 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 14470 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
