Accumulated in electronic control units so valve for starting with empty tank-nxxx, open or short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high and wait then fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
14462 Possible Causes:
14462 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 14462 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
