This something to do with the intake camshaft timing accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration you can see the evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
14462 Possible Causes:
14462 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 14462 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
