This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground also angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too largely is the final reason of the code. |
14459 Possible Causes:
14459 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14459 Code
- Inspect all the connections a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
