This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles shift lock, malfunction . On the other hand b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
14431 Possible Causes:
14431 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 14431 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
