14429 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, no activity to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, high you can see the valve for torque support mount, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
14429 Possible Causes:
14429 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14429 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, implausible message from brake controller
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
