Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open or post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit is the final reason of the code. |
14426 Possible Causes:
14426 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 14426 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
