When you open throttle closed position, performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit high and wait then brake pedal position / accelerator pedal position, incompatible will delay your vw fault. |
14424 Possible Causes:
14424 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14424 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
