14422 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing coolant degassing valve, control circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit low and exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
14422 Possible Causes:
14422 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14422 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit interruption
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
