The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, electrical error It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich or change exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit will delay your vw fault. |
14422 Possible Causes:
14422 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 14422 Code
- Inspect all the connections mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
