This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission control unit relay, short to b+ and wait then exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range is the final reason of the code. |
14409 Possible Causes:
14409 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 14409 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
