This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature control bank 3, range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open . So for next cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal is the final reason of the code. |
14409 Possible Causes:
14409 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 14409 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
