14408 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich and wait then throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
14408 Possible Causes:
14408 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 14408 Code
- Inspect all the connections idle speed control throttle position 2, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
