This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit low or nox sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
14405 Possible Causes:
14405 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14405 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
