14402 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit interruption retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start engine torque reduction, open / short to ground . On the other hand exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
14402 Possible Causes:
14402 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 14402 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from control module battery monitoring
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
