Staring in engine throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit also fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
14401 Possible Causes:
14401 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14401 Code
- Inspect all the connections sensor 2 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
