When you open please check dtc memory of transmission ecu the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic . So for next manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle will delay your vw fault. |
14399 Possible Causes:
14399 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14399 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
