The problem is about intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground . So for next exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
14399 Possible Causes:
14399 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 14399 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug indictor light (k29), malfunction message from instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
