When you open throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system air leak between maf and throttle body and throttle actuator control system, stuck open will delay your vw fault. |
14398 Possible Causes:
14398 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 14398 Code
- Inspect all the connections mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
