When you open linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit range / performance or a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
14396 Possible Causes:
14396 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 14396 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 electrical error in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
