14379 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with a/c control module requested, mil illumination causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'd' primary control, short to plus or ignition coil 'g' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
14379 Possible Causes:
14379 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 14379 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine torque reduction, open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
