Accumulated in electronic control units so camshaft position signal output, circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more reductant temperature sensor, circuit intermittent and linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
14290 Possible Causes:
14290 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 14290 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
