Diagnosing engine bar with throttle actuator control module, performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low or change intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
14288 Possible Causes:
14288 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 14288 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
