Accumulated in electronic control units so cylinder 3 above knock threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit or change turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
14261 Possible Causes:
14261 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14261 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
