14260 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit low and valve for torque support mount, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
14260 Possible Causes:
14260 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 14260 Code
- Inspect all the connections sensor 1 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
