This something to do with the intake camshaft timing evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), electrical malfunction . So for next coolant degassing valve, control circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
14257 Possible Causes:
14257 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14257 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply (b+) terminal 15, implausible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
