14255 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes before kat exchanges mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high and sensor 1 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
14255 Possible Causes:
14255 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 14255 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
