14254 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbocharger (tc)control module 2, faulty mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', maximum stop performance or change cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance is the final reason of the code. |
14254 Possible Causes:
14254 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14254 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
