14253 Description And Summary :

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system altitude adaptation, signal out of tolerance . So for next camshaft position signal output, circuit low will delay your vw fault.

14253 Possible Causes:

14253 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

What To Check After Fixing 14253 Code

  • Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
