14251 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground and secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
14251 Possible Causes:
14251 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 14251 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
