Staring in engine data bus powertrain, missing message from clutch control run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit intermittent and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
14244 Possible Causes:
14244 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 14244 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 2 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
