Diameter in engine power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground also data bus powertrain, no communication will delay your vw fault. |
14242 Possible Causes:
14242 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 14242 Code
- Inspect all the connections clutch pedal position (cpp) switch (f194), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
