Diagnosing engine bar with linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed transmission ratio, implausible and catalyst system exhaust bank 3, effectiveness too low will delay your vw fault. |
14242 Possible Causes:
14242 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14242 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of transmission ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
