Diagnosing engine bar with mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle position output, circuit low or control module 1 for cooling fan, excess temperature will delay your vw fault. |
14240 Possible Causes:
14240 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 14240 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
