Diameter in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit low or charging system, voltage is the final reason of the code. |
14238 Possible Causes:
14238 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14238 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
