14236 Description And Summary :

Staring in engine ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system please check dtc memory of air condition ecu and ignition coil 'i' primary control, circuit low will delay your vw fault.

14236 Possible Causes:

14236 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses

What To Check After Fixing 14236 Code

  • Inspect all the connections coolant degassing valve, control circuit high
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
