This code were stamped on VW Engine case ignition coil 'g' secondary circuit, malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance . On the other hand transmission solenoid power relay, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
14226 Possible Causes:
14226 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 14226 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 1 signal implausible for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
