This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, no activity It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow you can see the data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 2 will delay your vw fault. |
14221 Possible Causes:
14221 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14221 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration
