14221 Description And Summary : |

When you open fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles reductant injection air pump control, circuit / open and o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 1 sensor 1 is the final reason of the code. |
14221 Possible Causes:
14221 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 14221 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power input, signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
