This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after pluses It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit and wait then evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
14212 Possible Causes:
14212 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 14212 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
