14208 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too small retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'b' primary control, short to plus and wait then turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
14208 Possible Causes:
14208 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 14208 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
