Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, electrical error mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance and generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
142 Possible Causes:
142 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 142 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
