142 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about valve for pump - jet, cylinder 6 (n245), electrical malfunction run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit / open or change engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
142 Possible Causes:
142 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 142 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), lower notice one does not reach
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
