The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) + (g185), implausible signal or intake flap motor 2 (v275), no signal is the final reason of the code. |
14198 Possible Causes:
14198 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14198 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
