Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly lean causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system b camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low and wait then o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
14198 Possible Causes:
14198 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14198 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
