The problem is about fuel rail sensor (g401), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open and wait then exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too small will delay your vw fault. |
14197 Possible Causes:
14197 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14197 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'g' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
