Staring in engine secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance . On the other hand exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
14191 Possible Causes:
14191 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 14191 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
