Staring in engine oxygen (lambda) sensor b3 s1, heater return coupling mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent and signal for back-up lights, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
14189 Possible Causes:
14189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 14189 Code
- Inspect all the connections pre-catalyst exhaust bank 4 effect too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
