This something to do with the intake camshaft timing evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake air leak between throttle body and intake valves or change change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, high is the final reason of the code. |
14186 Possible Causes:
14186 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14186 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control: open stop outside of valid range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
