14183 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine planetary overdrive / low range, mechanical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles data bus engine/engine, defectively or hydraulic actuator valve (n331), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
14183 Possible Causes:
14183 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 14183 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
