This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck open . So for next fuel mode indicator lamp control, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
14180 Possible Causes:
14180 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 14180 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake flap motor 2 (v275), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
