Accumulated in electronic control units so data bus powertrain, missing message from adr control module mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground you can see the linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, implausible is the final reason of the code. |
14178 Possible Causes:
14178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 14178 Code
- Inspect all the connections charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
