Diagnosing engine bar with secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit electrical malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, interruption or valve for pump - jet, cylinder 3 (n242), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
14178 Possible Causes:
14178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14178 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
