The problem is about hydraulic pressure sensor 2, too high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), range / performance also exhaust gas temperature bank 2, too high is the final reason of the code. |
14177 Possible Causes:
14177 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 14177 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
