Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor turbocharger speed sensor, circuit range / performance or change a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
14170 Possible Causes:
14170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14170 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes after kat exchanges
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
