The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault injector data, incompatible to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open . So for next data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 will delay your vw fault. |
14170 Possible Causes:
14170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14170 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
